The series Rock Music Exposed is based mostly on excerpts from Hell's Bells1 and Hell Bells2 documentaries by The Apologetics Group.
Thanks to Eric Holmberg and The Apologetics Group for allowing to present this material. Note that more than 3 hours of the documentaries were not included in this series. You can get a full copy of Hell's Bells 1 as well as Hell's Bells 2, The Sounds of War, Pandora's Box Office and other videos that analyze pop culture from a Christian worldview perspective by going to:

  • Neither do I personally see a difference between hysterical rock fans and religeous fanatics fainting at a healing session because they have been touched by the Lord, or whoever. *shrug*

  • @Steedrider not to mention musical modes first used in churches and monastries which today form the basics of every decent gitarrist.

  • Sorry, but when arguing that heavy metal is a "dissonant form of music", the producers simply revealed that they have no clue what they are talking about. Dissonances are a musical device to create tension in order to relieve it right afterwards - often applied by Mozart, Beethoven and other classic composers. Only because the guitars sound rough, doesn't mean that the harmonic structure is dissonant. BTW, metal often uses complex harmonic patterns and scales, borrowed from classic music.

  • thumbs to the mullet and porno mustache!

  • Great Neidemeyer clip to start with! WHADAYOOWAAUHDOWITHYOURLIFE!!!!!!!!

  • Nobody is bullshitting on Pop music and Rap music who are talking about drugs, being 'superstarts' ( idolism anyone ) , how they are above everyone else ( narcism anyone) , how they want to have many bitches on their lap... that's why america has so many idiotic fancy girls and guys who are aggressive and slutty...

  • I have no doubt that rock music is spiritually degrading.
