Come Down O love Divine is a hymn that is loved around the world. This particular version is performed by the world renowned choir of King's College Cambridge and led by director of music Stephen Cleobury. Verse 2 is particularly charming as the male only first half breaks into a full choir fortissimo harmony for the second half. I hope you all enjoy it and please feel free to comment/rate it!

  • In usaing the idea of renown, there is no need to use it in the form renowned because in using renown one the past present and future tense is implied.

  • @MusicPredominates When picking up on someone else's grammar, it's always a good idea to make sure your spelling and grammar are tip top. ("Usaing").

  • @ryanpostlethwaite - this is not a grammar section but music dept of the internet, mayve yo have not conmeaccross the word - typographical error?

  • Lovely voices, Beautifully arranged and delivered.

  • @ryanpostlethwaite plus renowned in this case is an active participle... "the choir is being renonwed currently and has been" is what that original sentence implied

  • The tune : "Down Ampney" always demands a reply in the form of being endlessly playable.

  • @ryanpostlethwaite : The 'a' and the 's' are juxtaposed upon the keyboard which is an essential key in communicating with the screen. David (of Melbourne). Anyway, Ralph doesn't care !
