November update....things are winding down. Harvesting beans, peppers, squash. Fighting cabbage bugs. Will have a beet harvest soon. Starting to plan the 2012 garden.

  • The peppers and radishes look excellent, as well as the garden beds and the compost pile. This summer a line of trees growing along the north end of the garden tempered the reflected heat from the building north of the garden. In the cold months it's good to have the reflected heat though, so the trees get chopped as soon as it gets cool, so they can grow back by next summer.
