Walk of Fame Stars on Hollywood boulevard : Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, Jerry Lewis, Cary Grant, Bob Hope, Tom Hanks; foot and handprints in Mann's Chinese Theater's (theatre) forecourt, the most famous of Hollywood movie palaces conceived by mogul Sid Grauman in 1927. It's always been a paid PR gimmick, useful PR and a winwin sitauation for everyone as the stars get their vanity, the studios get their audience and the Walk of Fame gets tourists
