@AmericanTaxSlaver Why do you assume that it was gov't workers building this court? I'm sure the NCAA is very capable of building their own courts with their own paid workers. As for the carrier, it was already docked awaiting a deployment. What harm was done by hosting this game? I personally thought it was a great tribute to our troops.

@MinisterQuietBuck, on the one hand, during war time our soldiers are not supposed to parade or waste assets, but the ship's maintenance/operation schedule probably permitted the use for a game.
