Wow I can't believe in the beginning of the vid, You can just see the beatles walk normally on the street. You even see Paul just strolling to saville Row. All the other people don't even look. Surely they must be real popular.

slide guitar is "slide guitar" whether it is played via lap steel, pedal steel, bottleneck (regular guitar position) or dobro...

Lol..I got it!...its not a shotgun shell..the casing on a shell is plastic and would just make a scratchy sound...looks like a tube of some kind.
