Abuja (Nigeria) — For three hours and three minutes yesterday, thousands of aggrieved Nigerians led by the Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, took to the streets in Abuja, the nation's capital, to protest the French leave embarked upon by the ailing President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua since November 23, last year.

  • haha...those stupid PDP youths have been paid to take part in the rally against the voice of the entire nation to save Nigeria from the hands of PDP and its conmen parading themselves as politicians. Why would these bastards want us to pray for Yar Adua? Well my only prayer is for God to give him the courage to voluntarily resign his position as the Nigerian president

Thank you, we really need help to free ourselves from the metnal slavery we brought on our selves, pls people, look to the future, look to the future of ur children, not with hatred but with understanding of unity among us. Nigeria is Great country and i'm proud CITIZEN

  • all these oldies wont do anything..its all in the hands of the youths to stand up and fix our home, but none of us wants to die.we have millions of youths who are studying politics, law, philosophy, economics and so on...for what?? to make money?? y not use ur skill to fix ur country and make money?? its not only the oldies that are selfish, even the youngies are selfish. i am a politics student, planning to go into law school and i am not going to use my skill only for myself but for my home.

  • having a notherner rule over nigeria is like being led by the blind...we should have 6 or at least 9 regions in nigeria, let them control their resources..then we can develope regionally without northern influences

  • northern nigerians has put nigerians through too much troubles since independence from british rule...nigerians have to understand that northerners dont believe in listening to the masses, they like to command people like they do to their own people...since people from the south dont like to be pushed around,it bothers nothern leaders...my point is the north have to understand what democracy rfally means

  • It breaks my heart that Africans are still mentally enslaved

  • Nigerians LOVE big WORDS! tufia-kwa....yeye politicians
