@jalmelb This was the B-side to a single called Imperial, think it was about 1987/1988.
-
japanese artist Cornelius also used this title. PS are very big in Japan :)

You will never get this out of your head
-
primal scream was first dude, but yeah its a good song too
-
so this isnt a cover of the Cornelius track? What year did this get a release?

Some of you may not like this, but it is miles better than most of todays music.
And Primal Scream are no more derivative than ANY other band/artist. diss them all you like. They are one of the UKs best rock n roll bands.

Diss BG as you like, but at least, he's not exactly that same arrogant ass as Jim Morrison was, haha. Kill all Hippies. Don't cry for your broken dreams, it's the best that could happen to you. Whoever survived a PS gig knows what raw power is. Regarding the recruiting of talented musicians, why not? Everybody does that. If you keep up trying to understand the world seriously, you'll just end dissing cool bands. That's what your life will be all about. Not amusing.

Seriously attrocious. I mean, Bobby's lyrics are nothing special these days, but back then, they were woeful. I still loved the album Primal Scream, though, even the lyrics on the likes of Lone Star Girl and Sweet Pretty Thing.

He's a pretty ridiculous hack but his boundless determination to be a rock god always led PS to recruit some very talented people in whatever genre Gillespie was piggybacking at the moment, so they're good records, two of them (screamadelica & vanishing point) are great. That's some credit to him, I guess.

What a load of fucking bollocks.
Bobby Gillespie never really changed his approach to writing lyrics: scribble down a load of hackneyed "cool" phrases, throw them up in the air and glue them back together in whatever order they fall.
