Years ago when he released "Filth" via the internet, I emailed him as I was at the time a new stand-up comic in Australia, struggling because everyone told me I was "too angry", and club managers told me to leave the hecklers alone or I wouldn't be asked back for gigs. I never expected a reply, but the Diceman did - and told me to just keep on going and I'd make it, to be true to myself and f*ck 'em!
Tell me another celebrity who would do that.
