Girl, 14, on being 'Tasered' by the police

Police in Nottinghamshire have apologised for accidentally shooting a 14-year-old girl with a Taser.

Officers were called to Stapleford on Wednesday night following reports of anti-social behaviour in the area.

Police discharged the Taser after trying to arrest a man who had become aggressive towards officers.

The Taser shot missed him but hit Jodie Gallagher, who was standing nearby, sending an electric shock through her.

Jodie Gallagher described to Nina Warhurst how she got caught up in events.

@Kampfertum891 The police didn't deliberately shoot her. They were aiming it at the man that was being aggressive to the police. She unfortunately was at the wrong place. They stopped when they knew what happened. The police has apologised to her.

Whats weird about england is their inability to actually speak english in the vast majority of their country. There is no way this person would have been understood outside of their local environment. There are no vast rivers, mountains or wilderness in the UK that seperates people. Nothing except the localmindedness of their people.

She's a teenage girl, they use like ALL THE TIME, and she's completely understandable, aside from not understanding how a taser operates and using British slang a bit... can't believe a full grown cop felt they needed to TASE a 14 year old...
