IaaC Weekend Architectural Workshops (WAW)

The Weekend Architectural Workshop (WAW) is a workshop for architects and architect students from Spain and for the entire world. It is organized by Instituto de Arquitectura Avanzada de Cataluña (IaaC), and it's about advance digital manufacture technologies for the production of Architect. This workshop use systems such us Laser Cut, 3D Printers and a Numeric Milling Machine CNC. The WAW_ETSAM objective has been the manufacture prototypes based and constructed with Laser Cut System.

Aqui en mexico, en mi universidad, hay una cortadora laser. Todos la usan, el problema es que la usan normalmente para hacer cortes ortogonales, simples y repetitivos. El verdadero potencial del corte laser es utilizarlo conjuntamente con software de visualizacion digital para generar ensambles complejos.
