Is there any known archaeological evidence? I'd imagine that a device made for throwing would often be lost or otherwise left unretrieved. If they existed in any particular time period there surely must be a few lying around waiting to be turned up by a plough or construction work.

I wonder if shuriken were actually farming tools before becoming tools that ninjas used. Kinda like a tilling tool. Probably not though. lol. Thanks for hearing me out.

sorry do not have any websites all I know is he is a shuriken expert and made an appearance in human weapon ninjutsu try look him up this is about as far as I can go P.S.Author of Japanese throwing weapons.
