I love it too. I like sunny weather of course, but I love it when it storms (especially at night on the weekends or when I don't have anywhere to go the next day during the week) I wish I could have had more in the video, but like I told Chris/Consciouscloud, my batteries decided to go out right about when I was about to film more. Unfortunate too. The wind was blowing a lot harder a little later than it was near the end of the video.

I love thunderstorms, severe weather, and storm chasing. Unfortunatley, we don't have much of it up here. I used to chase on an amatuer level when I lived in the south and midwest. Great footage, it was really interesting!

I wish I could have kept filming too. I was actually planning on doing that too a few minutes later from my front porch when the wind started blowing much harder than it was in this video. Unfortunately, just as I was, my camera's battery decided to run out of power.
I've never seen a tornado up close and personal myself. The closest thing to a tornado I've ever seen was when this funnel cloud formed over my town a couple of years ago but never actually became an 'official' tornado.

Wow! That was cool. I wish you could've kept filming, I really like storms myself, especially when it gets real dark like that. Guess it's just my personality, but I enjoy days where the sky is either really ominous looking or sunny days where the sky is filled with cumulous clouds. But I always wanted to see a real tornado and film it in action. Have you ever seen a real one?
