  • Just finished reading the kid Kevin Lewis you my friend are a legend

  • You are an amazing person and cant believe you came out so good in the end watched your film last night and cant stop thinking about it good luck to you an your family

  • Saw the film last night and was astonished at the sheer mental strength shown by Kevin Lewis. I feel lucky not to have suffered the abuse that he did but I think we could all learn a thing or two about triumphing over adversity from his story.

  • I have read both The Kid and The Kid Moves On and think that Kevin Lewis is absolutely amazing. To be where he is today after such an unbelievably traumatic and chilling childhood just shows how much strength and character he has. I think Kevin is an amazing writer and to share his experience in great detail with the world, as challenging as it was for him, shows just how remarkable he is. I am hoping that they have released the movie over here in New Zealand.

  • I was so saddened by this film. But he has given me inspiration to writing me own autobiography bout my past with abuse and bullying knowing tht he got through what he did has helped me slowly come to terms with what I went through. It was the best film I've ever seen. Il never forget it.

  • just seen the film, gonna buy the book now all my respect go's to kevin lewis a true man so glad u have found happiness. wish you all the best for u and your family

  • I have my file and I could not understand how no one was listening to me ! I had to do as I was told back in the 1950's I had a ruff time, but nothing like Mr Kevin Lewis. I wish him every success and more Dennis R

  • I just finished watching the movie and it was absolutely amazing every one should go watch it I really admire this man and his story and his struggle .

  • I first saw the film and then read the book in just 2 days......the book and film are quite different but still both deserve a look-in......it's almost unbelievable at what Kevin |(and his sisters and brothers) endured, just glad everything seems to be going well for him these days......

Hard to believe this stuff is still goin on, but sadly it is....:(
