can a parrotlet and a budgie share the same cage when there is only the two of them? I have budgie and have been thinking about getting a parrotlet... I have a big cage...

There are antioxidents in that, so they will live years longer!

LOL It's so annoying to see it go to waste! wheat grass is so healthy and nutrient rich.

Sure, as long as you get a baby parrotlet. Budgies love everyone. Parrotlets get a bit set in their ways with age, but if your budgie is a male especially, he'd probably welcome a little parrotlet. The green rump parrotlets are milder mannnered than the Pacific parrotlets, generally.
Mine all used to have separate cages, but when given the option, slept together.

The parrotlets are the only ones who actually get the idea of wheat grass.

Actually, the green budgie was the instigator in my flock. She just loves rolling around in wet wheat grass. Well, they all do, now!
