  • Sure, as long as you get a baby parrotlet. Budgies love everyone. Parrotlets get a bit set in their ways with age, but if your budgie is a male especially, he'd probably welcome a little parrotlet. The green rump parrotlets are milder mannnered than the Pacific parrotlets, generally.

Mine all used to have separate cages, but when given the option, slept together.

  • The parrotlets are the only ones who actually get the idea of wheat grass.

  • Actually, the green budgie was the instigator in my flock. She just loves rolling around in wet wheat grass. Well, they all do, now!

  • can a parrotlet and a budgie share the same cage when there is only the two of them? I have budgie and have been thinking about getting a parrotlet... I have a big cage...

  • I want my own birds now.

  • animal know's best

  • There are antioxidents in that, so they will live years longer!

  • LOL It's so annoying to see it go to waste! wheat grass is so healthy and nutrient rich.
