    Hi. I'm working on a group documentary for school about capoeira. I was wondering if I would be able to use clips from your video and any other capoeira videos that you may post in the documentary. We will give you all credit for everything of yours that we use. The documentary is solely for educational purposes, but will be shown at the AFI theater to teachers, students, and parents.

    This martial arts was done by enslaved African who wanted to perform martial arts but would be punished by their masters if the masters learned they were teaching themselves how to fight. So to cover this up, they made it look like they were dancing, so that the masters thought this was some sort of traditional dance. To someone who knows absolutely nothing of capoeira and judges at first glance, this would seem as stupid as the person judging :)
