Amrita Cottrell (http://www.healingmusic.org) and Susie Nelson-Smith (http://www.crystalsoundandlight.com) are the co-directors of The Crystal Sound Institute. In October, 2008 they began teaching the first Crystal Sound Therapy Training Course a 12-month professional program that is both experiential and knowledge based.
The Crystal Sound Therapy (CST) program facilitates development on both a personal, professional, and spiritual level by using the sacred sound of quartz crystal singing bowls to facilitate awareness, deep soul connection, transformation and health. Training is offered for those wishing to become professional Crystal Sound Therapists and for those wanting to learn and experience sound healing for their own pleasure, information and transformation.
It consists of two residential intensives (held six months apart), case studies, learning outcomes, group performance, and a number of other requirements for certification.

Very nice! I just recently took a 1 day class, a "sounds of healing" workshop, using the crystal bowls as well as Tibetan singing bowls, tingshas, drums, etc. Very enlightening! A wonderful addition to a Reiki session also.
