ok at the penalty at 9:15, What is the rule??
bernardocoronel 1 year ago
@bernardocoronel
The rule is: To make ONE smooth-movement... so you can slow down, but not really stop (as Cristiano often does).
It is the same rule for this WC-2010, so maybe we will see such penaltys in this World-Cup.
.
(But I have to say, I do NOT like such penaltys!!!)

@Petenaldo what do u mean? didnt ronaldo stop in this video?
bernardocoronel 1 year ago
@bernardocoronel
In our eyes he stoped... but not in the referees eyes. Before the World-Cup 2010 there was a refere-discussion about that "stopping-penaltys": What Ronaldo did, they still call a 'smooth movement', but remember Cristianos Penalty in the Champions-League vs. Chelsea 2008 DURING the game (which he missed, after like 10 minutes of the game)... that was to much 'stopping' in the eyes of the referees. I do not know, why the referee did not repeat this penalty...

...maybe because Cristiano missed that penalty, and the referee thought: Well, it is your own fault, so it will not be repeat.
