  • When Arkham City comes out for the PC, will you please do a video of it? Please?

  • @pinoyboy579 Yes, of course :)

  • @nevasoft2k7 because most systems cant handle it

  • theres only one problem with physX and that is that its not profound enough. im one of the biggest physX fans out there and spend all my hours looking for demos or merely pissing around in game with physX entities and whatnot. but look at 90% of these scenes, physx is only being used for like 3 sheets of paper or smashing up tiles. why not have a room covered in paper and have it so that the floor itself can literally be torn up and metal be dented. its fully capable- so why not?

  • a high spec machines is capapble of these effectts without the need for this physx crap! what bullshit.

  • @nevasoft2k7 well, you figure having those 3 pieces of paper cause 10+fps loss imagine how hard it would be to simulate that much. i mean, with physx off i can get full 1080p max setting on my pc at aruond 80+fps, whereas physx drags it down to the 25-40

  • So...

All I'd be getting in this stupid game would be paper on the floor, smoke... And... That's about it.

I'd rather play on Radeon then spend the extra money.

  • @Th3GoldenGam3r Nevermind,saw the smoke and steam.Blew my mind.

  • Seems more like a gimmick rather than a worthwhile addition.

  • @Dharma818 Not quite. The Xbox 360 has an ATI GPU which doesn't support it at all, and while the PS3 does have an nVidia GPU, it's an NV47 which is too old to support PhysX. Having said that though, nVidia have licensed PhysX to Sony for use on the PS3, but it will be running on the CPU only (cell SPU's to be specific). To be honest most other physics libraries are capable of running on console CPU's so this isn't really noteworthy... For physics, PS3 > 360. For graphics, 360 > PS3.

  • Sure are exaggerating what you can or cannot do with or without PhysX... like ultraneonoirnatihero stated, most of these effects could be accomplished without, to an extent. Maybe not fully reactive to meshes and movable objects, but it's still possible. Wavering cloth or illusions with just particles could've been accomplished for people who had it turned off or couldn't use it. Just marketing this, really.

  • @ultraneonoirnatihero That's marketing for ya. =)

  • Lol. WE'RE JUST NOT GONNA SHOW HALF OF THE GAME IF YOU TURN IT OFF...
