i got this for my ubuntu computer 9.04, but every time i click on it, it will say "starting boxee" but it just cancels it, please reply because im very anxious about boxee

@andrepowns You should try to reinstall it. also try disabling compiz see if that helps.

@andrepowns Right click an empty spot on your desktop click change desktop background > click the Visual Effects tab then select None.
