Here's the Scopitone for this great minor hit...look closely at the blonde dancer...it's Teri Garr (who as some know was a dancer long before an actress...she appears in "Roustabout" with Elvis, as well as one of the dancers in The T.A.M.I. Show

  • You know, I think rock and roll history has given Gary Lewis less than his due. Despite startng from his father's long shadow, he made himself a genuine star and composer. This is a great song and, despite the (obviously fake) pantomime, a decent video.

  • @Tours1010732 I agree...though if memory serves I don't think Gary wrote most of his hits...still they were for the most part listenable at the least, and some were superlative

  • Who is that hot brunette in blue? Im glad I finally found this!

  • @WhalesRBoss Wish I knew...amazin', ain't she...

  • Teri Garr, Come on down to my boat baby, come on down where we can play. Swinging Medallions

  • @nergvol Thought that was Every Mother's Son...but who cares...I'll take Teri, that healthy brunette...ah the hell with it...give me all of them...:-))

  • @rockola63 when they had a tv special gary took pains to point out that he switched from drums to guitar because they cant see him back there on the drums

  • @spacepatrolman Could be since they were both on Liberty Records and used a lot of the same session players, usually Hal Blaine and the Wrecking Crew, Spectors bunch of merry marauders. A cool little gem nonetheless.
