This is a review of my 2011 Cannondale Caad10 with the Williams system 58 carbon clincher wheels. It's a sweet bike and I wanted to show it to you all.

  • slam your fucking stem

  • @timmy585 If your telling me to flip it over, I flipped it about a week after I made this vid. I agree that it looks stupid with the stem flipped up.

  • carbon clinchers.....whyyyyyyy?!!?!? Too many spacers on your stem, also your stem is flipped the wrong way.

  • @bin31z I have since flipped the stem. Looks and feels a heck of a lot better now. Whats wrong with carbon clinchers? I have a set of all-rounder wheels as well.

  • @2drsam Here's the problem. Carbon wheels are relatively expensive and delicate so I use them exclusively for races. So if you are going to do that, you should have the lightest wheels possible with the best ride quality. Thus, you should have tubular carbon wheels as tubies are lighter (no inner tube) and most supple. Tubular rims are also way lighter than clinchers. So a carbon clincher is neither here or there. For training, they are too delicate and for race, they are too heavy.

  • @bin31z I understand that tubulars are lighter, but they are a big hassle to deal with. Charbon wheels are also a lot more durable than they used to be and the williams are known to be some of the most durable made; however, they are also a little heavier than other brands. My wheel set weighs in at 1624g. They are still way lighter than the Shimano RS10 that came stock. I have put almost 1000 miles on these wheels and I have had no problems with them, but to each their own guess.

  • @2drsam no, take all the spacers out from under the stem, drop the stem so its directly on top of the top cap, then put the spacers on top of the stem. then cut the suck knob so you dont impale yourself.

  • @TewkesburyTriathlon 52 seems really small for your height. I'm 5' 10" and I ride a 56 in the Caad10. If you get such a small frame, you won't be able to stretch out your upper body without a super long stem. I would say you need AT LEAST a 540 mm effective top tube.

  • @izzyyoula The price is for the pair plus about $20 for shipping.

  • @2drsam Thank your fast answer. I just bought today a specialized Allez Elite all red and white sits and white handle. Looks great and feels great, now I need those wheels. Is the price for a single or a pair of wheels, let me know, thank you.
