amazing driving,thanks for posting,i watched all the vids,and knew who he was prior to watching,so was expecting it,but on the first vid,though he was great but not really going that quick as scrubbing so much speed off,and not having the power,then you carry on watching as he gets to the flatter bits..and boy is he flying...like ari vatanen in the 70-80s,you can see how he has become so polished...amazing driving..

Drifting with an underpowered car on uphill, with that car, do you have any idea how hard it is? i bet majority of people who think they can drift woukld just understeer in his shoes with that car on those corners on uphill

Probably, epicwarding have never been there at Usui Touge pass. I self-taught high lateral-G driving there in 1960s and 70s, when Drift King was still a kid. In those days, fast drivers drove more or less like the video. The reasons why we could do so with weak engines are: [1] slope is gentle [2] Curve radius is suitably small (20-30meters) [3] Road is very broad only at the corners (more than 10 meters). [4] Tire grip was poorer
But we never drove on the oncoming lane at blind corners.
