In 1996 I was arrested for shooting an Off-Duty Police Officer during a robbery. Throughout my trial and 12yrs of incarceration my heart yearned to reconcile with the victim of my crime. Having committed such a grave injustice to Lt. Blakey, his family, my family, and the community; it was my prayer that one day I'd have the opportunity to reconcile with Lt. Blakey. My prayers were finally answered shortly after I returned home from prison in 2008. This video captures the Hour of Reconciliation between I & Lt. Art Blakey on September 11, 2011!
