@EVERYONE Disregarding Ridley's methods, do none of you find this police behavior offensive? Dave was legally there, but when asked to leave, as is the property owner's right, he did so. Slowly, yes, but once in the parking areas he was walking the same speed as the cops. You think it's ok to arrest someone for trespassing when they immediately start obeying the order to leave? Is he supposed to teleport himself instantly? I find it disturbing that you AREN'T offended by these cops

The hotel is clearly accessible to the public, he has full right to enter public areas of commercial property until otherwise requested to leave by the property owner. Likewise, even a property owner cannot forcefully remove trespassers unless a crime has been committed (this applies to bouncers too, FYI). C'mon man, don't fall in with the bootlickers!

@wangtangkiki It doesn't matter if he was leaving. He still committed the crime of trespassing. If anything, the cops were being decent and giving him the chance to leave. They could have arrested him at any point in this video.

Technically you were breaking the law when you entered the premises. The cops were doing you a favor and asking you to leave. When you continue to film them, while backing up slowly, they can arrest you on your original charges of trespassing. When you start screaming like an idiot, they arrest you on the charges of disorderly conduct as well. Why was it so imperative to film them in the first place? Oh right, because libertarians love trying to make a "point."
