Why Don Imus? There are racists all over the media

Neal Boortz, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, and Michael Savage prove that racism, sexism and bigotry exist in our media on a daily basis. Why isn't there the outrage over their comments? Why aren't they fired? Why Imus?

Liberals need to quit assuming that all conservatives are racist. It's a conversation stopper used as a last resort by people who can't respond intelligently to arguments. All people against Obama are racist? Bullshit. Obama's policies are perhaps some of the most controversial of any U.S. president in history. You can disagree with someone of a different color and not be racist. You can even argue that liberal policies are more racist than conservatives.

No one is saying ALL conservatives are racist but this video proves too many are and it has become an intrinsic part of the conservative movement that many other conservatives are failing to challenge and address, rather their commentators seem to be actually amplifying it.

"I'm a conservative" has always been a conversation stopper for me. Willful ignorance, greed and NPD all rolled in to one. Not all conservatives are racist but all racist are conservatives. The reason they went after Imus was because he was exposing cheney bush for their negligence regarding Walter Reed and for their war crimes -- also, he was referring to neo-con mole hillary clinton as "satan." Of course, he had yet to be introduced to sarah palin.

Ha! Randi Rhodes plays a clip of Neal Boortz saying that "so many of them have turned out to be complete bums" referring to Katrina refugees and you call him racist. Who mentioned race? It seems to me that you are doing just a little racial profiling of your own by assuming that everyone who came from New Orleans was of a particular race. Either that or when he called someone a "bum" or "debris" you transliterated the statement to reflect your own ideas about a particular race.
