  • It's a remake of a British TV show called "Who Do You Think You Are?" that explores genealogies of some famous people and how it impacted who they are. By far one of the most moving TV moments I've ever seen is the one for Stephen Fry, where he finds out some of his relatives died in concentration camps. But yeah, I'm fascinated to see this and eagerly anticipating the American version of this show. So now I shall shut up and watch this.

  • Great stuff. Steve is so cool......it's really great to see him interacting with his family.

  • The beautiful Mrs. Page (Steven's mom) was my grade 3 teacher! She was a wonderful teacher who inspired me to read books. What a crush I had on her! She still looks amazing.

  • Love the dude who gives the thumbs up. I thought for a second this was going to be a satire or something.

  • @Paardon1 Barenaked Ladies were huge here in the 90's... They are 90's rock, along the lines of the spin doctors etc... It's far from country...

  • SCARBOROUGH

  • Well I am British and I not only know who BNL are, I love them - seen em twice in concert in the UK and have all their CD's - I apologise on behalf of my fellow Brit but BNL are known here and known and loved by many. This is a real treat (yeah the Stephen Fry one was great)

  • @gracefulangels Yeah, they make it look easy. It's taken my dad over 30 years to get as far back as he has

  • @MrEmpirical And slaughtering each other because they can't agree. Agnosticism and Atheism seem to be the way forward.

  • no never, but then i am from the UK, is it country and western? we don't understand that over here.

  • u have never heard of the song one week?

  • never heard of him or his band.

  • @flclfan85 There is a version in the Us now which has already aired. You mean the British version though right?

  • @krushsister Ooooooooooh!!!!! Stephen FRYYYYY!!!!!! hi. me loves him. XD

  • They make it look so easy to find out the histories online, but believe me it is really not! Obviously the geneologists get the info then the 'star' of the episode just looks at that information on a laptop. I am frustrated looking for my relatives!

  • Religion: bringing people together...

  • Strange how we segregated ourselvess even in the times of need that poverty would produce. Jews were in St. John's Ward, Irish were in Cabbagetown.

    *sigh*

  • wtf don cherry

hes starting to look like someone you might see in a porno about old people and teens

well, ok, a porno I might see :(

  • that's cool, it's kinda like the show Biography on A&E. Question is, when is it coming to the US

  • okay, what exactly is this show?
