Black Holes, White Dwarfs and other Dead Stars -Part 1

A description of the bizarre properties of stars at the end of their life, actually they are already dead as they no longer generate energy by Nuclear Fusion. These remnants: White Dwarfs, Neutron ...

There are no black holes, just brown stars waiting to go nova. Einsteins mass limit is the neutron star.

About 0.1 Solar Mass

when u say the star has to be of a mass between 0.5 and 1.4 solar masses in order to form a white dwarf, do you mean the star or the core remnant?

I came across this vid in hopes of helping me study for a tezt that is coming up, it was very helpful, thankyou for that first of all. But I was wondering if its not too much to ask to make a vid or explanation on how neutron/electron degeneracy pressure works. If not its ok :)

An object of 1.4 solar masses will bend light indeed, especially if it is on the order of the dimaeter of the Earth. The estimate of 1.4 solar masses for the limit of a white dwarf does not come from observations... rather it is a prediction based on electron degeneracy.
