I have a female yellow rat snake who had 22 eggs this year.
All eggs were due to hatch Aug had yok but nothing else.
Male mated with her over 4 times eggs were brilliant white and quite large, what would you say i need to do as incubator was regulated.

Incubation is a learned skill and it can take a few tries. You might want to try Kathy Love's book on corn snakes, and Don Soderberg's book on corn snakes. They both have good info on breeding and incubation, etc, which will apply to your yellow rats.

very lovely i love this video, it's the first video i have seen of snakes hatching, what kind are they?

This is a small clutch of 4 cornsnake eggs hatching. They will cut the egg and sit around "pipping" for up to 2 days before the pippies finally emerge completely. The hatchlings, from left to right, were: Charcoal, Lava, Charcoal, Normal. :)

oooo very interesting. How long did it take them to shed and get their first meal?
DarkSageZ 4 years ago
IIRC it was the usual, about 7-10 days to the first shed.
