Today, Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher (D-CA) entered into a colloquy on the floor of the House of Representatives with Chairman of the Financial Services Committee Congressman Barney Frank regarding reauthorization of the Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP). The colloquy drew particular attention to the foreclosure crisis that has hit California and to the need to provide assistance to homeowners through the TARP reauthorization.
Over 5 homes recently foreclosed upon on our street alone. Property value when bought = $458,000, now it is worth $325,000. The banks get their help and the bonuses continue. We trust the government to represent OUR best interests...they trust the banks to do what they want them to do. The result? = no help + foreclosures.

Congresswoman Tauscher, We would like to urge you to sign on as a co-sponsor of H.R1207 (The Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009). It's time to demand accountability in government! I hope you stand with us!

If the root of the problem is homes and mortgages these "representatives" should have know to start there. At least a couple of members see this and it only cost 350 bil so far. My "REP" Shea-Porter gives me yada yada yada emails for replys
