    Don't become vegan, unless you want to.

    Find a real farm, who grows real cows eating real food.

    Animal or vegetable, don't buy from a farmer whose hand you can't shake and whose farm you can't visit.

    But don't be surprised if you don't recognize the meat when you taste it. It tastes a whole lot more like deer, and a whole lot less like pig. (Not that pastured pig isn't also different, but they're natural omnivores and that effects things.)
