Systems biology is an over-arching, interdisciplinary research theme at the University of Exeter, which complements the work of research groups within the College of Life and Environmental Sciences and College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences bringing together academics from across the University in research, using informatics, modelling, proteomics, genomics and metabolomics to understand systems ranging from plant and human pathogenesis to organisation of ecosystems.
