I marched with this band back in 87-88...this so reminds me of the great times on band road trips, band parties, and all the good times. Too bad the music program seems to have regressed. There are some amazing musicians that don't get the recognition they deserve. March on!!!

you didn't play roboto cause it FLYS!!! If you don't have a great drumline, you would flop. My band played it at about 170 and it is straight sixteenths

wow my hs band played this show this past year. we didnt play mr roboto, though. my directors weird. man this brings back memories. rookie year, baby ;)

wow. we're playing this same exact arrangement for Mr Roboto. i bet the arranger was Tom Wallace, wasnt it? lol. that man's a genius.

my high school band did this very same arrangment last year...
the trumpet solo is very well done.
plus come sail away, too much time on my hands/the best of times...

Well, unfortunately with the way the department chair of the music department has run things, the way the new idiot they hired to run the band handles his rehearsals, and the fact the that the upper administration seemingly goes out of their way to stifle the music program there, the band is nothing close to the same size and level they once were. Quite a shame, really.
