How to create a sexy pop star, is taken from a documentary called "Before The Music Dies".
It just shows you how the music industry and the record labels work these days to yank money out of us.
What it takes is to use a simple formula of a pretty face, an aging musician, and some sound engineers and VOILA! u got a new star!
it sux!
it means that today only supreficial things-sell, and that maybe true talented musicians arent discovered.
Think bout it...

I didnt make this video. all credit goes to the guys in B4TMD production. much respect! :]
i just did the translation in hebrew...

  • And now you know hoe Di$ney Channel made Hilary Duff & Miley Cyrus into media sensations without even trying.

  • wow, dude! thats actually a very good example to the phenomenon!

  • Perfect. This is why I don't listen to this kind of music. It's all fake. I wish people would understand that and think before you say, "Oh my God! She's the best! Her voice is amazing! She's my new favorite musician!"... o_O Mainstream pop music is all fake crap with young women globbing on makeup, taking their clothes off and shaking their asses. And little girls watch it and go, "I want to be like her!" Dear God... What has music become. (This is why I stick to Classic Rock.) ^.^

  • @StrawberrieButterfly i agree with u on that as well, my friend :] im really thankful for growing up alongside Real music. as a kid i listened to classical music, and from there on, it rolled into Rock n' Roll :]

  • Yep. Maybe that's why I don't have any friends, because music is my passion in life, yet I can't seem to find anybody who has the same opinion. I love classical, classic rock, soul, folk, etc, but when I talk about it to other teenagers, they give me a weird look and proceed to talk about Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus. And it's embarrassing. Being a 16 year old girl and not being into anything that other teenagers are into is hard. It really is. But it's a sacrifice I'm more than glad to take.

  • im not a teenager, but i also dont really find alot of people that are into the music im into. and since music defines what and who you are, then it can be tough. but, give it time.. :]

  • I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this.

Of course, there will always be the people who just refuse to understand, but... I guess all I can say is that... I feel sorry for them, for they will never understand what it's like to be truly passionate about music. They don't know that feeling of ecstasy that you get when you become fully immersed in it. I'm just glad I was raised my mother, who was a concert promoter and grew up backstage, exposed to every kind of music there is. I'm so thankful..

  • @StrawberrieButterfly true that, my friend :] music used to be Art, back then. But now, its just a business :$ thats why Classic Rock is the way to go :]

  • that's very good :D
