300 might have been based off a true story, but it was so far the truth and the violence was very unrealistic.

Realistic you say, what you say about the outfit of the vikings in this movie? If your norwegian you would know that the wikings did not have horns, that they didnt not look like some chaos warriors from warhammer. And that not all of them was bloodthirsty maniacs. This movie is a disgrace to the vikings! 300 atleast is based on a true story.

actually the Persians were retaliating against a terrorist attack "sardis" (Athenian troops ran in and wiped out a city) with a war against Athens... the Persians managed to take Athens, but in a few years lost it, during thermopoly the spartan offered a general for the 7-10,000 other Greeks that defended it against the 100-250,000 in the Persian federation

Yes, the persian empire is trying to take over the world and told the spartans to be slaves and they said no and then the persians tried to invade, also theres that whole political scandal that goes on back in the city. Pathfinders was random killing indians, 300 actually like, kindof had more of a story, but it couldn've prolly been better anyways.
