We don't have a good multi-party system but we sure as hell have a good one. When we get a responsible government in power we will have proportionate representation meaning that a party with 40 percent can still get in power but they will only have a minority rule (i.e. how it should be everywhere). That plus an MMP voting system would be ideal. NOT a 2 party system.

I agree with Cenk on most things EXCEPT : This is not only my opinion, but I've looked up ALOT of online research that says so : Parliamentary systems work MUCH better than presidential systems..and I think a multi-party system is better than a 2 party system... why sacrifice having different views represented for the sake of ease in achieving power?
I'm THANKFUL Canada is a parliamentary democracy.
And I'm glad NDP made such gains. R.I.P Jack Layton
