Buddy Clontz covers the classic Beatles(George Harrison) tune "If I Needed Someone" on a Rickenbacker 360-12(12-string with Vintage Toaster Pickups) plugged into a Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10 Tube Amp. Thanks for listening! Check out www.infinityvisualgraphics.com for a look at some fun stuff!

  • hey, buddy! you rock! how much is that guitar? id love to get my hands one one!

  • @MrMattnethan Somewhere in the 3-4K range retail.

  • I stand totally corrected Buddy, you did a good job on that, I just learned it differently, and never did see george use a capo, which he did in japan on this tune when beatles were there...and also the information i had on the capo invention was another apparently internet mis-info...my apologies...damn i hate being wrong, lol

  • @MrBruceBarham I may not be the best player, but I do have a good ear. I trust what I hear which is why I play the way I do however unorthodoxed my technique may be.

  • Awesome once more. Watching guys like you, make some of us want to play the guitar ourselves. It looks effortless, so simple, but the practice I can only imagine.

  • @MacIain82 Thanks!

  • If you agree that Rickenbackers are better than Fenders, give me a thumbs up.

  • @BuddyClontz alright, thanks. keep rocking!

  • absolutely awesome man love your covers!

  • You play very nicely; check the completely different figure GH plays on all the harmony vocal verses (as opposed to the intro. and solo verse vocal) to compliment those different notes. Thanks for posting.

  • love the sound of that ric 12 string in classic stuff great job a hofner bass player here

  • The feedback is a bit grating, maybe invest in a better mic or have your amp looked at, but this was spot-on. Great cover.
