@austin81524 connect it to your computer (the ipod) and then open the folder in which you placed the song after download, and you should be able to copy and paste it into your ipod music folder

you have to first sign in to itunes on your pc, then move/copy the song to itunes and connect your ipod and make sure there isnt an update

@austin81524 In itunes go to add file to library ( it's up in the top left corner in one of the drop down menus) and find the song then simply add it to your ipod like you would any other song. Some songs will refuse to be placed in itunes for some ungodly reason.
