roland, korg, yamaha: the big 3 japanese rock!

That's a very subjective area though. Keep in mind the only synth (if you can really call it that) that Yamaha makes in the same category as the Juno-Di is the MM6. IMO the MM6 cant' hold a candle to the Di's patch mode (especially for user patch creation). I used to own the MO8, and the Motif ES6.., and I personally like the pianos on the Di more than those synths. Again.., it's a very subjective area.

Sounds on this thing are SUPERB. I'm a professional keyboardist. I play in 2 bands. I work and rehearse with this board often. I bought it to replace my aging XP-30 which I cherish and still own. This Juno almost makes me forget about my XP. Liteweight. I'm in my 50s so I don't need the xtra weight of the older boards. The sounds are just as good as any hi-end Kurz or Yam. I'm playing to mostly people in clubs and bars so trust me, they really don't care about how much u spent on your board!

@troydaby Not sure if you can help that man, its called over sampling I believe. You can look up something along the lines on google about 'Juno Di oversampling help' but like I said, I dont think you can do anything about it.
