  • @wdmnetwork They should be using a high volume suction. Yea the smaller tube one isn't as effective.

  • Why does a university upload videos that have probably been over 2 decades old now?

And yea, where are the gloves?

  • sounds like porn music

  • The worst part was that the cavitron shoots out so much water in your mouth and the suction thing sucks at getting all of it out so you end up having to swallow water and/or take breaks so you can empty your mouth every minute or so. But none of it is painful... just a little annoying. Oh and it cost me $75 per quadrant at my local dental school. Not expensive at all and that is with no insurance.

  • I had this done today and it didn't hurt at all. They put topical gel on my gums for the injections and I didn't even know she was putting the needle in. Then the novacaine shots completely numbed up my teeth so I didn't know she was so deep under my gums... it just felt like she was cleaning the surface above the gum. Then after the novacaine wore off I had absolutely no pain, sensitivity, or soreness. In fact my teeth felt better because there wasn't huge chunks of calculus jammed in my gum

  • @neecee401100 hey dentists will charge you a ton to scale your teeth. look for a dental hygiene school - they give the same service for much lower cost. scaling in my area is about $200 per quadrant which means i'd have to cough up about $800 for this procedure...found a local dental hygiene school - $34 dollars for the whole procedure! just check with local universities!!

  • laser are here now. forget scaling

  • How can somebody with such nice teeth have all of that in between their teeth?

  • Geez this is like a million years old lol

  • I just had this done on half of my mouth. My gums are now bloody and I have to take ibuprofen as soon as I can feel my face fully because I feel discomfort.
