I have soared it several times but not this year. Needs pretty strong NE and just haven't had that recently. I wouldn't say it was tricky. Launch is simple. There is a definite possiblity of landing in the water if the tides in but it is only a foot deep.

It is on the Chesapeake Bay. Faces NE. Good strong NE days are rare -- usually raining when it is NE
