Spree was killed on September 12th, 2008 while riding home from work on a Metrolink Train. Her train collided head on with a freight train. These photos were taken on 3/17/2006 at St. Baldrick's - a benefit where people shave their heads to raise money for childhood cancer... and yes, Spree shaved her head that day as well. One of a very few women who are willing to do this. Spree was obviously very unselfish. God Bless Spree, her family and friends.

This is a heartbreaker. I'm so sorry. Spree must have been a super person, and I understand why she is missed terribly.

Although I never had the opportunity to "meet and know" Spree, I photographed her at a couple of these St. Baldricks events.... I remember her smiling and laughing at them. I often come back and re-read these comments. Thanks for posting... Especially those that knew her!
