Umm Vesta RIP I love congratulations. Now when they said she was on AM records from 86-90. I immediately thought of my boo my idol over 100 million records sold etc etc I can go on and on bec I love love her Miss Janet Jackson. They were label mates I'm sure Vesta couldn't stand her telling by Vesta Diva attitude. Poor Vesta baby when Control hit and then RN 1814 that made hits in 3 calendar years 89,90, and 91 the only female to do so to date. Vesta didn't stand a chance sorry.

Thank God for shows like UnSung! No disrespect to the family, friends, & associates of artists like Vesta Williams, Teena Marie, etc., but I'm glad we got to hear their stories from their own mouths. With personalities as unique as Vesta's, Millie Jackson (etc.), I mean, NOBODY could've told their stories like they can/could.--And to be so damn funny & engaging. We would've never heard these stories with that much insight otherwise. Really sheds light on who they are as HUMAN BEINGS.
