what is the best way to store cabbage for the winter root cellar canning or freezer.Same for lettuce?

Very interesting, thank you. We have to start the seeds inside in a greenhouse because it's too cold when they need to be sown.

@clairesallotment … Seeding directly into the garden works in the fall cause you’re planting while it’s still warm. For the spring garden we need to start the seeds inside……..Donald

Funny I planted the same kind,though in southern california our weather changes to often for them to make a nice big head so far I've only gotten 1 pounders
