IFC and the World Bank are working with the Haitian Government to create a national framework for Integrated Economic Zones. The new zones would provide desperately needed jobs to tens of thousands of Haitians, in various industry sectors over the next five years. An example of how such industries can help is seen here at this garment manufacturing factory in Haiti's Northeast which is giving hope and salaries to more than 6,500 people and their families.
