goodbye my lover

this video means more to me than any other i have made. i seriously watch it at least twice a day, and every night before i go to bed.. nobody can understand how much i love this mare.. i made this video after hours of crying to cope with her being forever lame, taken back, and shipped off to another farm... i have no idea where she is or how shes doing, just that she had a rough trailer ride.. it really sucks and i needed a way to say goodbye and keep her memory... this video probably wont mean as much to anyone else as it does to me, but oh well, if even one person appreciates it then its worth it

song: these lyrics are totally 100% appropriate for my situation with this horse at the moment... its very sad and makes me cry, but still sortof fits under my style of music.. i really wanted a sad song to say goodbye to her without completely moving on, and this was perfectly appropriate. i also like the singers voice and the feel to the song

effects: the dreamy, sortof blurry effect shows how surreal this whole situation is to me.. im saying goodbye to the horse i planned to have for a lifetime... the colors are to show how sad/ romantic the clips are

clips: they simply show how much i love my horse... not showing off our jumping or anything, just our bond (which i feel is more important)

i am nobody important. my name is ashley and i love my horses more than anything... i am probably the most competitive person on this planet, but my love for my animals comes first... i am not much of an editor, i just do whatever i feel like at the moment

i am on youtube to allow other people to watch and enjoy my horses as much as i do... i also enjoy sharing the videos that inspire me with others, hoping they will feel the same effect

i am entering this contest because i completely agree with its ideas... i am not someone who is on yt for compliments and subbers and wish everyone would be the same way... also, i hope to inspire others with my video, or at least allow them to share some of my pain/ love for my horse

im ohh soo sorry the same thing is gonna happen to me to my horse is hurt and he has problems with his joints so he has to get sent away :*( i know exactly how you feel... sad,lonly but know that u hav friends to help u.... its a sad thing to go threw :(

I completely understand what you are going through now. I have watched your video countless times! But only now do I truly appreciate it. My dad just got a new job. We are now moving from pennsylvania to southern virginia. I don't get to take my mare with me. It is heartbreaking.
