  • So...before I do something useless or even damaging...I got some thicker strings and since my guitar has been buzzing like hell. Will increasing the bow remedy the situation?

  • @kilulafo It should, try it and see if it helps

  • THANK YOU, very clear all the way through!

  • @androidguitar Your Welcome!

  • Hey man I just wanted to THANK YOU!!! I visited a ton of websites and watched a few vids and your the only one who actually made any real sense. You actually show an easy way to check the curvature for beginners like me. I had a nasty buzz that was happening because my neck was too flat, your way showed me how to put that right amount of bow which cured the buzzing problem. Thank you so much!

  • @FrozenSparky Yeah, he probably was referring to the actual rod turning to the right. To clarify: Tightening: clockwise, Loosening, counter-clockwise.

  • hi....one ques....which one do come 1st??strings height adjustment or truss rod??tq

  • Is it me or does this guy sound like Mozzie from White Collar.

  • @TheMusicDude1997 truss rod, string height and the intonation.

  • Great video. I used to be terrified of making my own truss adjustments for some reason. Easy peasy.

  • Do I need to adjust the neck alot if I change my strings from 0.09 to 0.10?

  • if my guitar is totally screwed up, in what order should I do things, intonation, truss rod, string height, etc ?

    thanks,

    Max

  • @kilulafo

Adjust the truss rod if the frets buzz in the test.

If they still buzz after the test you should change your string height.

Holding the first fret and the twelfth fret should leave just enough room for a playing card to get under the strings at the seventh fret without touching them.

  • @rockguitarpower It did, to some extent. :D
