  • "Pure hearts never carry bad intentions.

    Pure hearts never carry jealousy.

    Pure hearts never carry enmity.

    Pure hearts never carry hatred.

Pure hearts never intend to harm others.

Pure hearts cannot be against each other.

Pure hearted people live only for their Lord.

Bad people do not live for their Lord.

They live for the sake of this world."

These are the teachings of our beloved Shaykh Nazim in this video.

  • Sufis teach the way to achieve inner peace by purifying one's consciousness, heart & intentions. Following the practices of Islamic shariah without spiritual guidance is only half of the religion. There is nothing 'shirk' about sufi teachings.

People who attack sufism and their teachers are missing the most beautiful aspect of this religion. Fundamentalists attempt to shove Islam into a box and try to make everyone as unhappy as they are.

    Taste the sweetness of Islam!

  • This is absolutely beautiful!

What's the name of this song?

  • The song is Tala'a al-Badru Alayna; the is the welcoming song that was sung when the Prophet (pbuh) entered Medina. This version, which is my favorite rendtion, is sung by Faeeza Malinga on the Yusuf Islam CD called 'Night of Remembrance'.

  • I would love to know the tune as well! Please let me know.

  • the Quran asks us again and again to remember God, to seek His presence, and to pray. is this not what Sufis spend their lives doing? the Quran tells us that it is better to spend one's life seeking God's mercy and doing what is good. tasawwuf *is* Islam, it is not bidah. beautiful video by the way.

  • Religion doesn't cause division, all of our differences as humans do. Sufism is great because it ignores difference, it is a very personal relationship with God, as intended in the Holy Quran.

And yet some Muslims believe that music is haram because of some very weak hadith. Muslims need to understand that Saudi Islam a.k.a Salafism/Wahhabism is something NEW, financed by British colonialists and very toxic to real Islam. Islam was spread by Sufis so the next time a Wahhabi tells you that they have deviated you tell HIM his Saudi sect to which he belongs are the ones who have truely deviated.

  • Mahsha'Allah

  • damn this sounds so good

  • the same reason why some christian sects twisted & lied with the bible. putting confusion in ppl by old & new testaments

  • @Zammboor So true,salaams.

  • Sufism and ORIGINAL Gnosticism
