The heater was on during the filming of this video, it was a little chilly out from what I remember.

I wonder if these later models still had the horrid turning radiouses as its earlier 1980s GMC RTS counterpart. It took 4 lanes just to do a right turn no joke.

Actually, the engine in this particular bus is the Detroit Diesel Series 50 - 4 stroke engine and the Allison VR731 transmission. Most of that whining you hear is the Allison transmission whcih is somewhat common. This bus was built in 1997-98 and the 6V92TA was not available by that point. Last buses were built in 1995 with 6V92TA engines that I know of.

Good GOD what a classic GMC sound in there!! That 6V92 TA with the Voith is SCREAMING like a baby as well just like back in 1979..1980S like i remember going on those engines!! A+10Star
