6 inch mahogany cased mantle clock with a cast brass bezel and painted dial circa 1948. It has a going barrel movement with platform lever escapement held within rectangular brass plates manufactured by Smiths and is in fully overhauled condition. The arched top mahogany case is stamped in the base BR(E) 13556 and is complete with its original cast brass bezel, the case measures 10 inches tall, 9 inches wide at the base and 4 inches deep. The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was located at Liverpool Street Station, Assistant General Managers Office (Traffic) and a scan of the original clock record will be included with the Clock.
